Essential sessions and access
Authentication, security, order access, payment continuity, rate limiting, and similar functions can use cookies or server-linked tokens. Blocking them may prevent sign-in, checkout, order access, or account features from working.
Cart and temporary browser storage
Taploop stores the cart in local storage so it can remain on the device between visits. Session storage can keep short-lived checkout context and preferences such as a promotion, wallet choice, or protection selection. Clearing browser data removes those local records.
Measurement technologies
The current layout loads Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity. Depending on their configuration, these tools can process browser, device, interaction, performance, referral, and approximate location information. They must not be configured to collect product keys, passwords, full payment data, or unnecessary personal information.
Payment-provider technology
When checkout opens Stripe, Stripe may use its own cookies and related technology for payment, fraud prevention, authentication, security, and service operation under its published policies.
Your controls
Browser settings can block or clear cookies and storage, and privacy extensions may limit measurement. Some essential features may stop working. Taploop does not currently publish a dedicated cookie-preference centre, so it should not claim that consent can be managed through an unavailable control.
Changes to this notice
This notice should be updated when a storage key, analytics provider, consent mechanism, or business purpose materially changes. The reviewed date identifies the current public version.
