Information Taploop may collect
- Account identifiers, email, profile, security, notification, and country information.
- Cart, quote, order, seller, payment status, fulfillment, delivery, verification, refund, replacement, wallet, and invoice records.
- Support categories, messages, redacted evidence, and case history.
- Taploop+ subscription status and payment-provider identifiers.
- Partner applications, channels, campaigns, attribution, content, rights, commissions, tax, and payout records.
- Device, browser, cookie, session, request, security, fraud, and measurement data.
Why the information is used
Taploop uses information to authenticate users; price carts; prevent duplicate payments; deliver and verify orders; provide support and remedies; operate wallets and memberships; manage sellers and partners; measure site use; prevent abuse; keep audit records; comply with law; and improve product and marketplace guidance.
Payments
Hosted Stripe checkout can collect card, wallet, billing, authentication, and payment information under Stripe’s own terms. Taploop receives payment and customer identifiers, status, amount, currency, and related records, but not the full card number or CVC from hosted checkout.
Retention and security
Records should be kept only as long as reasonably needed for the transaction, account, security, fraud, tax, audit, legal, seller, or partner purpose. Taploop uses access controls, signed sessions, rate limits, redaction guidance, and audit records, but no online system can promise absolute security.
Choices and privacy rights
Depending on location, a person may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, withdraw consent, or receive certain personal information. Browser storage can be cleared through device controls, although doing so may remove a cart or order-access grant. Taploop has not yet published a verified general privacy contact; the current routes are listed on the contact page.
Children, transfers, and changes
Taploop is not designed for children who cannot legally consent to the relevant purchase or account. Providers may process information in other countries under their safeguards and local law. This notice can be updated as services, providers, or legal requirements change; the reviewed date identifies this version.
